How the process works
A quality adult ADHD assessment involves more than questionnaires. It includes a structured clinical interview, a review of your history (including childhood), screening for overlapping conditions, and a physical health check.
Most people complete the assessment over multiple appointments. Typical clinician time is 2.5–4 hours across the Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner.
Timeframes
Once we have received your completed paperwork, the typical assessment timeframe is 2–4 weeks, depending on appointment availability.
Clinical governance
All new ADHD diagnoses are peer-reviewed through our clinical governance process (Tuesday 1–2pm).
Fees and staged payments
This is a non-funded service. Fees are staged and paid as you progress through the pathway.
